Ashtanga Yoga Summer Retreat Period 2017

Summer Ashtanga Yoga Retreat with Stefan Engström Authorized level II by KPJAYI.
You can join our  retreat on the following dates below and stay for a weekend, a week, two weeks, or as long as you like up to nine weeks. Possible arrival days: June the 23rd & 25th. July the 2nd, 9th, 14th, 16th, 23rd & 30th. August the 4th, 6th, 13th, 20th & 25th. 

Every week there are two hours of yoga asanas in the mornings and one hour of pranayama in the afternoons. Besides this standard Ashtanga programme we will focus on a specific subject every week!  (Approx an other two more hours per day). No additional fee for these talks and extra programme. 

Programme & Dates
Week 26 (Sunday 25th till Friday 30th of June): 
Ashtanga yoga asanas, Pranayama and Yin Yoga; teacher Stefan Engström
Week 27 (Sunday 2nd till Friday 7th of July): Ashtanga yoga asanas & Pranayama and Anatomy of Wholeness & Support; teacher Stefan Engström.
Week 28 (Sunday 9th till Friday 14th of July): Ashtanga yoga asanas (self practise - no teaching).
Week 29 (Sunday 16th till Friday 21st of July): Ashtanga yoga asanas, Pranayama and Anatomy of the pranic-body & psyche. Practical exercises with  Psychosynthesis; teacher Stefan Engström. 
Week 30 (Sunday 23rd till Friday 28th of July): 
Ashtanga yoga asanas, Pranayama and Anatomy of Wholeness & Support; teacher Stefan Engström. 
Week 31 (Sunday 30th of July till Friday 4th of August): 
Ashtanga yoga asanas, Pranayama and Yin Yoga; teacher Stefan Engström. 
Week 32 (Sunday 6th till Friday 11th of August): 
Ashtanga yoga asanas (self practise - no teaching)
Week 33 (Sunday 13th till Friday 18th of August): 
Ashtanga yoga asanas, Pranayama and Anatomy of the pranic-body & psyche. Practical exercises with  Psychosynthesis; teacher Stefan Engström. 
Week 34 (Sunday 20th till Friday 25th of August): Ashtanga yoga asanas, Pranayama and Yin Yoga; teacher Stefan Engström. 

However, you can also combine the retreat week or weeks with one of the four weekend workshops mentioned here below.

Weekend Midsummer (Friday 23rd till Sunday 25th or Monday 26th of June).

Weekend July (Friday 14th till Sunday 16th or Monday 17th of July).
Weekend August (Friday 4th till Sunday 6th of August).
Weekend August (Friday 25th till Sunday 27th or Monday 28th of August).

Some examples of combinations of retreat weeks and weekend workshops
If you choose to stay for a weekend workshop (2-3 days), you can join the retreat on Friday evenings at 5.30 p.m. and leave on Sunday (or Monday) at 2.30 p.m.
If you choose to stay  for a retreat week (5 days) you can join the retreat on Sunday evenings at 5.30 p.m. and leave on the next Friday at 2.30 p.m.
If you choose to stay  for two retreat weeks (12 days) you can join the retreat on Sunday evenings at 5.30 p.m. and leave on the following Friday at 2.30 p.m. and so on.

Fees
Normal Weekend (2 days, Friday to Sunday) 240 Euro. (Midsummer 2 days 250€)
Long weekend (3 days, Friday to Monday) 320 Euro. (Midsummer 3 days 330€)

One week (5 days from Sunday to Friday) is 450 Euro.
Two weeks (12 days) 820 Euro,
Three weeks (19 days) 1150 Euro.
Four weeks (26 days) 1450 Euro.
The fee for weeks 28 & 32 is 300 Euro.
In case you would like to stay longer than 4 weeks please contact us about the price.
If you would like a room for yourself then add 35% to the fees.
If you bring a pet also add 35% to the fees.
There is also a possibility to pay by work-exchange. In case this would interest you then please contact us asp, as this is possible only for 3 people/season.
What is included in the price: Lodging, 3 meals/ day , 2 yoga sessions/day (asana practice, pranayama and talks by Stefan).

If you have been to our retreat before and bring a new student, both you and the new student will get a discount of 40 Euro.

All levels are welcome. Also complete beginners!!

Travel instructions for the summer retreat weeks
( For weekend workshops read the information for each workshop at Agenda & Fees)
Arrival on Sunday at 5.30 p.m. at Hanko railway station and departure is on Friday after lunch at 2.30 p.m.
There is a train connection from Helsinki to Hanko approx. at 3.30 p.m. The train journey to Hanko takes approx. 2 hours.
A taxi van will pick you up at Hanko Main Railway Station at 5.30 p.m. and take you to our harbour.
In case you are coming by car then the address is Sandöströmmen 93A, 10900 Hanko. You can park your car safely at our harbour for the duration of your stay.

What to bring
Please bring sheets. In case you forget or prefer to travel light you can hire sheets for 20 Euro/set.
If you don't have a yoga mat you can use one of the yoga mats provided. Warm clothes and a flash light.
Bring two towels. Soap for washing your clothes. Water bottle as it is recommended to drink a lot of water during your stay.
We also suggest that you bring some pocket money to enjoy all the cakes and different coffees in the Café.

Payment
Once you have confirmed your booking we will send you more detailed information regarding the payment.

Terms and conditions

Make sure you have valid travel insurance as insurance is not included in the price.
What is included in the price: Lodging, 2 meals/ day (lunch and dinner), 2 yoga sessions/day (asana practice, pranayama and talks by Stefan).
If you miss the arranged pick-up or departure be prepared to pay for a taxi (approx. 25 Euro) and a boat taxi (approx. 50 Euro).
Only arranged transfers are included in price.

Cancellation fees will be incurred as follows
1st Payment (deposit):100% loss of deposit if the student decides not to come.
2nd Payment (remaining fees):100% loss of payment if the student decides to not complete the workshop.
